Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-C1A9673

Condition
The stop lamp switch is located by the brake pedal. The switch is affected by the brake pedal's lever during braking. The Central electronic module (CEM) checks the brake lamp switch (BLS).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The brake lamp switch (BLS) is active even though the vehicle is locked from the outside. The DTC is first stored after 5 repetitions (unlocked/locked/unlocked) with active fault.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Powered central electronic module (CEM)

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- The brake lamp switch (BLS) is incorrectly installed.
- The brake lamp switch (BLS) is damaged.
- The brake lamp switch (BLS) has jammed.

- Cruise control/Disengagement does not work
- Starting/Engine does not start/Unsure when/at all times
