Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-006A04

Condition
The Body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC) provides the Brake control module (BCM) with information about the lateral movement of the vehicle and the lateral and forward acceleration. The body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC) checks its own function using internal check software.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC) transmits a message that it registered an internal fault.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- Traction control (TC) blocked.
- Stability control (SC) blocked.
- Active yaw control (AYC) is blocked.

Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.
