Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-C002001

Condition
The brake system's pump motor is located on the hydraulic module together with the Brake control module (BCM). The hydraulic pump motor builds up pressure that is necessary during ABS braking, stability control and brake assistance.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The hydraulic pump motor does not start.
- The voltage to the hydraulic pump motor is too low.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- Stability control (SC) blocked.
- Active yaw control (AYC) is blocked.
- Emergency Brake Assistance (EBA) blocked.
