Condition
Seat heating module (SHM) sends information to Climate control module (CCM) about status and current temperature.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The heating coil in the seat is not working.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Engine running.

Possible source
- Open circuit on the cable between seat heating module (SHM) and the heating coil.
- The cable between seat heating module (SHM) and heating coil is short-circuited to ground.
- The cable between seat heating module (SHM) and heating coil is short-circuited to voltage.
