- Ignition off, wait for 15 seconds.
Check the occupant weight sensor (OWS):
- Check that the components included in the occupant weight sensor (OWS) system are correctly installed.
- Check that the wiring included in the occupant weight sensor (OWS) system is correctly routed.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair check that the fault has been remedied.




- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Switch on the ignition. Wait 10 seconds.
Read diagnostic trouble codes by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
If the fault is intermittent, the fault has been remedied.

Replacing a component









If no malfunction has been found
- Replace the occupant weight sensor (OWS).

Note! After replacing the occupant weight sensor (OWS), the occupant weight sensor (OWS) must be calibrated.
