Removal

Perform depressurizing fuel system

Perform cooling system draining, charging and bleeding Refer to: Cooling system - draining, charging and bleeding, B6304T4, B5254T5 Service and Repair

Remove the following items:
- Plenum chamber Refer to: Plenum chamber Service and Repair
- Oxygen sensor (Catalyst monitor sensor) Refer to: Oxygen sensor (Catalyst monitor sensor), B5254T5 Service and Repair
- air cleaner (ACL) housing Refer to: Air cleaner housing, B5254T5 Service and Repair
- battery
- the auxiliaries belt

Remove the following items:
- the catalytic converter Refer to: Catalytic converter, B5254T5, TF-80SC Service and Repair
- Driveshaft left
- Drive shaft right
- Lower torque rod
- Temperature and manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAPT) Refer to: Temperature and manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAPT), B5254T5 Service and Repair
