Overview




The engine is available in two designs a gasoline model and a bio-ethanol model. These are transverse, 5 cylinder, 20 valve turbocharged engines with a cylinder volume of 2.5 dm3. The engine and gearbox are pendulum suspended with a mount on the engine that runs via a rubber bushing to the side member and an engine mount on the gearbox. There is a support point on the bearing mount to take up rotational forces.
