Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-U032200

Condition
The check sum is calculated in the Engine control module (ECM) and transmitted to the Central electronic module (CEM). The Central electronic module (CEM) compares this total with the one stored at the last software download in the Engine control module (ECM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The current check sum in the Engine control module (ECM) does not correspond with the one in the Central electronic module (CEM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
