Diagnostic trouble code ECM-034300 refers to camshaft sensor, inlet.
Diagnostic trouble code ECM-036800 refers to camshaft sensor, exhaust.
The engine control module (ECM) checks the pulse width modulation (PWM) signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor is constantly high. This is interpreted by the engine control module (ECM) as a fault. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the engine is running.
