Condition




The engine control module (ECM) checks the signal from the fuel temperature sensor. The fuel temperature sensor is integrated in the fuel pressure sensor. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the signal from the fuel temperature sensor is too high.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at ignition on and with the engine running.

Substitute value
- Predefined value for fuel temperature.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
- Damaged temperature sensor.
