DESCRIPTION:

Customers may complain about a squeaking or creaking noise that can be heard from front and rear side doors (mainly reported on rear doors).

Under certain conditions (mainly warm and high humidity) the primary seals may create a squeaking or creaking noise due to friction with the painted surface when driving slowly on uneven roads.

SERVICE:

Step 1. Gently clean the outer edge of the primary seals with a cloth and blow the sealing clean with compressed air.

Step 2. Apply Carbaflou Perfluorated PFPE Oil P/N 1161840 on the flocked area of the seal.

Work the Carbaflou into the flocked areas that have contact with the body. In case the lubricant is NOT applied in that area, the service fix will not solve the complaint!!

The sponge is included with part number.

NOTE:
Let dry for approximately 10 minutes before closing the doors.
