DESCRIPTION:
A vehicle with a TF-80SC/SD (F21) automatic transmission may have gear whine at 80-110 kph, or 50-70 mph, due to a vibration/resonance via the gear shift cable.

SERVICE:
In case of customer complaints of a whining noise and it's confirmed that the gear whine occurs when the transmission is in 5th or 6th gear, install a damper on the shift cable according to the attached repair instructions.
