DESCRIPTION:
Volvo Cars of North America, LLC. on behalf of Volvo Car Corporation, has decided to launch a service campaign on certain model year 2012 - 2013 XC60, S60, S80, XC70, XC90 vehicles.

Volvo has identified that the corrosion protection treatment on the air conditioning compressor drain plug may be porous, resulting in A/C compressor oil leakage and compressor noise.

This condition may also have a negative impact on air conditioning functionality.

SERVICE:
The corrective action is to inspect the compressor drain plug for oil leakage, and replace the drain plug if necessary.
