INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Note! There may be components in the accessories kit that are not used for this installation.

Note! These installation instructions apply to left-hand drive vehicles. When installing in a right-hand drive vehicle, the procedure is carried out on the opposite side and/or mirrored. Where the operation differs, right-hand versions are also displayed with text and images.

- Set the ignition key to position 0.

Note! Wait at least one minute before unplugging the connector or removing other electrical equipment.

- Remove the panel.

- Disconnect any connector(s).

- Remove the sealing strip.

Caution! The front and upper sill panel must be removed and installed as one unit.

- Fold the carpet to one side.

- Locate the rubber grommet under the thick insulation mat and press it outwards.

Note! Position a long tool sleeve between the body and insulation to facilitate cable routing later on.

Applies to both sides

Applies to vehicles rear seat heating

- Disconnect the connector. Applies to both sides.

Applies to all vehicles

- Remove the rear sill panel.
- RHD: Applies to both sides.

- Remove the sealing strips.

- Detach the panel.

- Remove the nuts.

- Remove the clips.

- Fold the wing liner out of the way.

Applies to vehicles with headlamp washing

- Release the lock and tape the hose high up on the washer fluid container to prevent washer fluid from running out.
- Release the lock and take a piece of washer hose. Tie a knot in it and install on the washer pump to prevent the washer fluid container from emptying.
