Description of parameters

Parameters, status

Vehicle type
Indicates the vehicle type that is programmed in the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).

Steering
Indicates the control that is programmed in the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
Left-hand drive = the control module is programmed for a left-hand drive vehicle.
Right-hand drive = the control module is programmed for a right-hand drive vehicle.

Passenger airbag
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is programmed for a vehicle with a front passenger airbag.
Yes = the control module is programmed for a vehicle with a front passenger airbag.
No = the control module is programmed for a vehicle without a front passenger airbag.

Occupant weight sensor (OWS)
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is programmed for a vehicle with an occupant weight sensor (OWS).
Yes = the control module is programmed for a vehicle with a passenger weight sensor (OWS).
No = the control module is programmed for a vehicle without a passenger weight sensor (OWS).

Airbag switch, passenger
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is programmed for a vehicle with a front passenger airbag switch.
Yes = the control module is programmed for a vehicle with a switch for front passenger airbag.
No = the control module is programmed for a vehicle without a switch for front passenger airbag.

Seat belt detection, rear
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is programmed for a vehicle with rear seat belt detection.
No = the control module is programmed for a vehicle without seatbelt detection rear.
Left, right, and center = the control module is programmed for a vehicle with left rear, right rear, and center rear seat belt detection.
Left and right = the control module is programmed for a vehicle with left and right rear seatbelt detection.

Seat belt buckle, driver's side
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the driver's seat belt buckle is engaged or not.
Engaged = the driver's seat belt buckle is engaged.
Not engaged = the driver's seat belt buckle is not engaged.
Undefined value = the control module cannot register that the driver's seat belt buckle is engaged or not.

Passenger seat belt buckle
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the front passenger seat belt buckle is engaged or not.
Engaged = the front passenger seat belt buckle is engaged.
Not engaged = the front passenger seat belt buckle is not engaged.
Undefined value = the control module cannot register that the front passenger seat belt buckle is engaged or not.

Left-hand rear seat belt buckle (only for vehicles with rear seat belt detection)
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the rear left-hand seat belt buckle is engaged or not.
Engaged = the rear left-hand seat belt buckle is engaged.
Not engaged = the rear left-hand seat belt buckle is not engaged.
Undefined value = the control module cannot register that the rear left-hand seat belt buckle is engaged or not.

Rear center seat belt buckle (only for vehicles with rear seat belt detection)
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the middle rear seatbelt buckle is engaged or not.
Engaged = the middle rear seatbelt buckle is engaged.
Not engaged = the middle rear seatbelt buckle is not engaged.
Undefined value = the control module cannot register that the rear middle seatbelt buckle is engaged or not.

Rear right-hand seat belt buckle (only for vehicles with rear seat belt detection)
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the rear right-hand seat belt buckle is engaged or not.
Engaged = the rear right-hand seat belt buckle is engaged.
Not engaged = the rear right-hand seat belt buckle is not engaged.
Undefined value = the control module cannot register that the rear right-hand seat belt buckle is engaged or not.

Passenger airbag, status
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the front passenger airbag is activated or not.
Enabled = the front passenger airbag is enabled. The airbag will deploy in the event of collision of sufficient force.
Disabled = the front passenger airbag is disabled. The airbag will not deploy in the event of a collision.

Passenger airbag switch, status (only vehicles with front passenger airbag switches)
Indicates the mode that the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) registers that the front passenger airbag switch is in.
Off = front passenger airbag switch in is mode OFF.
On = front passenger airbag switch in is mode ON.

Occupant weight sensor (OWS) status (only vehicles equipped with passenger weight sensor (OWS))
Indicates how the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) interprets the message from the occupant weight sensor (OWS). Depending on the message content, the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) will either enable or disable the front passenger airbag.
Enabled = the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives message from the occupant weight sensor (OWS) the indicates that the occupant weight sensor should be enabled.
Disabled = the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) receives a message from the occupant weight sensor (OWS) the indicates that the occupant weight sensor should be disabled.

PAD lamp
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) has illuminated or extinguished the PAD lamp.
Off = PAD lamp is off.
Night = PAD-light is on in night mode.
On = PAD lamp is on.

PAE-light (only XC60, S60 and V60)
Indicates whether the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) has illuminated or extinguished the PAE light.
Off = PAE-light is off
Night = PAE-light is on in night mode.
On = PAE-light is on.

Seat position sensor, driver (only US/CAN)
Shows if driver's seat is in its front position or not.
The following alternatives are available:
Driver's seat not in front position.
Driver's seat in front position.

Note! Front position means the front 10 cm of the set rail.

Seat position sensor, passenger (only US/CAN)
Shows if passenger seat is in its front position or not.
The following alternatives are available:
Passenger seat not in front position.
Passenger seat not in front position.

Parameters, value

Battery voltage, SRS
Indicates the value of the power supply to the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
Measurement range: 0 -20.4 V.
