DESCRIPTION:
The Tire and Loading Information label located on the "B" Post in the driver's door opening, required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 110 Section 4.3 may not contain the correct spare tire size
and inflation pressure information on vehicles which have an accessory spare tire and wheel. However, the information on the tire sidewall and in the owner's manual tire information is correct.
If the vehicle is not equipped with an accessory spare tire and the Tire and Loading information label on the B pillar indicates "No Spare" no further action is necessary.
If the vehicle is equipped with a Volvo retailer installed spare tire and the Tire and Loading information label on the B pillar indicates "No Spare", then the old label needs to be removed and the appropriate label
installed.
SERVICE:
The corrective action is to inspect the Tire and Loading Information label to ensure it has the correct spare tire information, and replace the label if necessary.
