Paint: Application and ID

This article uses a picture philosophy in the instructions for mechanical work methods. The instructions focus on the pictures and include text only if it is impossible to show the work method in the pictures. For further information, refer to: Images in Service Information

Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Exterior colour, colour codes










Exterior colour, code / supplier / paint type. Written in two groups divided by a -.
The first group (3 digits) is the exterior colour, the last group (2 digits) is the supplier and paint type.
If the car has 2 colors, both codes are written, divided by a "/". Then the main colour is to the left of "/".

1. Solvent-based solid / metallic / pearl
2. Water-based metallic / pearl + 1K clear lacquer
3. Water-based solid + 1K clear lacquer

5. Solvent-based pearl + 2K clear lacquer*
6. Water-based solid / metallic / pearl + 2K clear lacquer
* Depending on the transparent pearl paint, it contains a solid colour that is to be applied before the pearl paint.





Two-colored exterior
If the car has two colors, both codes are written, divided by a "/". Then the main colour is to the left of "/".
