Checking electrical control, rearview mirror

Checking the wiring and switches
Troubleshoot according to below since electric control of rearview mirror does not work.

Note! The Driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM) cannot, until further notice, on this vehicle model, detect open circuits or short-circuits to battery voltage on the power supply to the mirror motors.

- Read out trouble codes and take action to solve codes related to the rearview mirrors. Return to this fault tracing if no relevant DTCs are found, or if the fault persists.
- Check the connectors for loose connections, damaged or bent terminal pins and oxidation.
- Check signal cable for an open-circuit and short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

No - Information

If no fault has been found on wiring and connectors, it is likely that there is an internal severed cable (open circuit) in the rearview mirror. Try to replace the rearview mirror.
