Removal

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting. Battery Disconnecting and Connecting

Remove panel steering column Refer to: Panel steering column Service and Repair

Remove steering wheel Refer to: Steering wheel Removal and Replacement





Caution! Make sure that the clockspring pins are not bent or damaged.

Caution! Make sure that the clockspring rotor does not rotate.

Remove steering wheel lever right Refer to: Control stalk, right Service and Repair

Remove steering wheel lever left Refer to: Control stalk, left Service and Repair

Remove the combined instrument panel Refer to: Combined instrument panel Combined Instrument Panel




Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Remove the parking brake rotary switch Refer to: Rotary switch, parking brake Service and Repair

Loosen data link connector (OBD-II) Refer to: Data link connector (OBD-II) Service and Repair









Remove the following items:
- Information and Entertainment Display Refer to: Information and Entertainment Display Service and Repair
- General audio player module Refer to: General audio player module Service and Repair
- Start Button SCU Refer to: Start Button Service and Repair
- Antenna Unit SCU Refer to: Ignition Antenna Unit (IAU) Service and Repair

Remove floor console Refer to: Floor console, TF-80SC AWD, TF-80SC Floor Console

Remove glove compartment Refer to: Glove compartment Glove Compartment




Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Remove panel A-pillar Refer to: A-pillar trim panel A-Pillar Trim Panel




Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm





Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
