Checking remote control, headrest mounted systems for rear seat entertainment

Note! Only applies to headrest mounted systems for rear seat entertainment.

The remote control uses infrared signals (IR) to transmit commands to the system. The signals are received by the screen's infrared receiver. If the remote control does not work, , the problem may be due to:
- Discharged batteries.
- Blown fuse.
- Blocked IR eye.
- Damaged remote control.

Checking the remote control signal
Check the batteries in the remote control.
Ignition on. Check the fuse for the circuit.
The fuse is located on the cable harness and is installed behind the side panel in the tunnel by the front 12 V socket.
Check that the IR eye is not blocked.
Remedy as necessary.
