- The improved ICM SW was released for the aftermarket week 23, 2011 (June 10, 2011)
DESCRIPTION:
Customers may report that a power/mute button press does not give any response. This scenario may be related to the duration of the press.
The function of the power/mute button press duration with the last SW version is as follows:
0 - 0.7 second press hand/es the power-on and mute / un-mute function.
0.7 - 2.0 second press will not give any response.
2.0 and longer press hand/es the power-off function.
PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
Development work has been completed to change the power button press time functionality to the following:
- 0 - 2,0 second press will hand/e the power-on and mute / un-mute function.
- 2,0 and /longer press will hand/e the power-off function.
*The improved ICM SW above was released week 23, 2011 (June 10, 2011)
SERVICE:
Do not replace any components if a customer reports the response explained above from the power button press.
Please describe the time ranges and functions for how long the power button should be pressed to the customer.
NOTE
The download time will be increased as the IAM will automatically be upgraded because there are dependencies between the ICM and the IAM in the SW's. There is no need to run an IAM Upgrade afterwards.
