INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Note! Some steps in these installation instructions are presented with illustration only.














- Tightening torque screws: 40 Nm (29.5 lbf.ft.).










- Tightening torque screws: 40 Nm (29.5 lbf.ft.).
- Repeat the method steps for the other seat.





- Set the ignition key to position 0.
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.

Note! Wait at least three minutes before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.

Note! The SRS system remains active for a brief period after power is disconnected. Thus, wait three minutes before starting work.










- Loosen the connector by screwing out the screw.

Applies to seat without belt tensioner.






Applies to seat with belt tensioner.










Applies to all models





Caution! Exercise care when doing this so that the trim is not damaged.

- Lift out seat.
- Repeat the method steps for the other seat.






















- Use tape to protect the tunnel console.






















- Unplug the connector.







Applies to vehicles with headset sockets










Applies to all models









































- Secure the part with butyl tape.










- Reinstall the removed parts.
- Ensure that no part of the cable harness is trapped.





- Secure the cable marked "Right side" with a cable tie.














- Position the control module as illustrated.





- Position the excess as illustrated.





- Route the cable marked "Left Side" between air duct and climate unit over to the left side.





- Position the cable harness as illustrated.


























- Secure the cable marked "Left side" with a cable tie.
