Information and Verification, Parking Camera Not Working

Information and verification, parking camera not working

Symptom and function description
The parking camera is activated in ignition position II, when reverse gear is engaged. Then a figure is shown on High Level Display Front (HLDF) of that which is behind the vehicle. The screen also displays help lines that show the vehicle's calculated travel direction as well as the vehicle's lateral position. If there are objects behind the vehicle registered by the parking sensors, these objects are marked as bars in High Level Display Front (HLDF).

Note! On the Japanese market, the vehicle is also equipped with side view camera to meet Japanese legal requirements. Use verification 2.

Note! If a trailer is connected to the vehicle, neither bars nor help lines are shown.

More information about help lines, bars, and when the camera is activated/deactivated is in design and function for Parking Assistance Camera (PAC).
