Parking assistance, camera, rear



















































INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.






Parking assistance, camera, rear

Note! The accessories kit can contain parts that are not used.

Note! Work is carried out the same way on left-hand drive vehicles and on right-hand drive vehicles. Left-hand drive vehicle shown. In cases where there are differences between left and right-hand drive vehicles, both versions are shown.










- Remove the screws.
Tightening torque:Front seat to body, 40 Nm.










- Remove the screws.
Tightening torque:Front seat to body, 40 Nm





- Open the boot lid.





- Set the ignition key to position 0.

Note! Wait at least one minute before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.





- Remove the panel.





- Remove the panel.





- Carefully pry loose the panel with air blower at the lower edge and then all the way around. The panel is secured by clips on the sides and at the top and with catches on the lower edge.





- Pull out the panel and disconnect the connector for the hazard warning lights.





- Remove the screws.





- Remove the screws.





- Fold the floor mat to one side by the left-hand side of the tunnel console.





- Loosen the clips on the cable harness from the tunnel console.
- Disconnect the connector for the CCM.







Applies to vehicles with an automatic gearbox




- Release the shift-lock function.
- Move the gear selector to position " D".

- Carefully pry off the center console panel starting on both sides at the rear edge. It is secured by two clips along the long sides. On manual gearboxes, the gear lever boot is secured by four catches (1) around the gear lever panel, (Image B).
- Lift it up slightly and make sure that all cables are free from the gear lever carrier and components in the tunnel console, and lift it out.

- Carefully pry off the panel at the lower edge and then all the way around.









- Remove the screws.





- Carefully pull the media player out, disconnect the connectors and place to one side.

Applies to vehicles with 5" display





Note! If the connection on the display is missing, the display must be changed.

Applies to vehicles with 7" display




- In cases where a connector is connected to the designated position, loosen the connector and fold back the cable and secure the connector to the existing cable harness.
Use:Electrical tape.

Applies to all models





Note! The number of connectors, cables and cable ties can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment level.

- Unplug the connectors.





- Carefully separate the cable duct.






























- Disconnect the connector for the lid opener.
