DESCRIPTION:

This TJ only concerns vehicles with the keyless or passive entry systems.

If the remote control to a vehicle with keyless system is kept together with a mobile phone in a pocket or a purse the mobile phone may block the passive lock or passive unlock signal to the vehicle. This will only occur if the customer is trying to use the passive lock or unlock features I.E. opening the driver door by pulling the door handle or by pushing the lock button on the exterior door handle. It does not affect the active remote operations (buttons on the key integrated remote)

SERVICE:
Do not replace any parts due to this symptom. Instruct the customer not to keep or store the remote control and their mobile phone together so that they can touch each other. They should be kept at least 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) apart.
