Parking assistance, camera, rear (Continued)





- Remove the panel and place to one side, new one in the kit.





- Carry out on both sides.
Use:Screwdriver.










































- Remove the rubber strip.





- Carefully pull off the panel in the middle.





- Unhook the panel from the lower edge of the A-pillar panel.

Note! Fold to one side from the bonnet opener.





- Carefully pry off the rear panel, and remove both panel sections.





- Push holes into the carpet for the locating holes for the control module bracket. Holes to the bracket are in the member. Enlarge the holes so the locating lugs go through.





- Press the bracket's locating lugs into the holes.
- Drill through the bracket and carpet.
- Remove bracket.





- Fold the carpet up.
- Drill out the holes from both sides.
- Remove any swarf.





- Rivet the nuts.





- Take the panel, camera and screws from the kit and secure the camera.





- Take the cable harness (A) from the kit and route through the hole in the boot lid.





- Connect the connector to the camera.
- Press the contact in the other end of the cable in the supplied isolator so that it locks.
- Press the grey lock into the isolator.

- Clamp the cable from the camera at the existing cable harness along the boot lid and its swing arm using cable ties.









- Connect the connector for the lid opener to the new panel.





- Assemble the cable duct. Ensure that all catches engage.





- Continue to route the cable at the rear edge of the fuse holder down to the floor, along the existing cable harness and cable duct forward in the car under the insulation. Secure using cable ties.





- Route the cable under the insulation at the rear seat and at the cable duct and out along the left-hand rear door.





- Route the cable inside the lower B-pillar panel and carpet to the carpet joint at the left-hand front door.





- Route the existing cable (1) to the control module's power supply (under the carpet) and place it in the hole in the carpet.
- Take the remaining cable harness (B), place it in the hole in the carpet. Route under the carpet up towards the hole for the display.





- Continue to route the cable inside the center console and up to the location for the display. If necessary, use a piece of curtain wire to pull the cable through. Route the cable between both air ducts. Ensure that the cables are routed so they are not at risk of being cut off.





- Ensure that all cables are placed in the hole in the carpet, and allow a 350 mm piece to protrude from it.





- Tighten the control module to the bracket.










- Connect the connectors to the control module.





- Clamp down the cables.

Note! The number of connectors, cables and cable ties can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment level.

- Connect the connectors.





- Connect the newly routed cable to the display.





- Install the display and tighten.

- Connect, reinstall and tighten the media player.









- Disconnect the connector from the dashboard environment panel.

- Remove the screws holding the dashboard environment panel.
- Remove the dashboard environment panel.









- Carefully pry off the dummy.





- Take the button from the kit and push it into place instead of the dummy.

- Connect the connector to the CCM.


































- Reinstall loose parts in the rear seat and cargo compartment in reverse order. Torque tighten as illustrated.





- Download software (application) for the accessory's function





- Calibrate the camera. Information can be found in VIDA under:
