Testing the motion sensor in the passenger compartment
- Sit in the car. Close all windows.
- Activate the alarm by locking the vehicle using the remote control.
- Wait 15 seconds, until the alarm has activated.
- Deploy the alarm by moving your arms back and forth at the same level as the seat backrest.
A siren sounds and all hazard warning lights flash.
- Deactivate the alarm by unlocking the vehicle using the remote control.






Testing the alarm sensor in the bonnet
- Remain seated in the car.
- Activate the alarm by locking the vehicle using the remote control.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Open the bonnet. A siren sounds and all hazard warning lights flash.
- Deactivate the alarm by unlocking the vehicle using the remote control.
- Close the bonnet.






Testing the alarm sensor in the doors
- Activate the alarm by locking the vehicle using the remote control from outside the vehicle.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Unlock using the key blade on the driver's side.
- Open one of the doors. A siren sounds and all hazard warning lights flash.
- Deactivate the alarm by unlocking the vehicle using the remote control.
