Checking fuses and power supply

The remote digital audio receiver (RDAR) is suppled power from the central electronic module (CEM) via a fuse.
Check if the fuse for the Remote Digital Audio Receiver (RDAR) is half burned by testing with a new fuse.

Hint: A half burned fuse can cause intermittent faults.

- Ignition on.
Check the supply voltage to the Remote Digital Audio Receiver (RDAR) by:
- Measure the voltage between control module connectors #C1-1 and #C1-2.
- Measuring the battery voltage.
If the difference between the control module's supply voltage and the battery voltage is greater than 2 V, the malfunction is in the supply cable.
If the difference is less than 2 V there may be an internal malfunction in the control module.
- Remedy as necessary.
