Condition
The Closing velocity module (CVM) checks the entire system including control modules that are related to the City Safety function.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Something in the system or other control modules has repeatedly malfunctioned.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when:
- The vehicle is in normal mode.
- Engine running.
- The voltage supply to the control module is 9-16 V.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
