Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The Driver/Passenger door module (DDM/PDM) receives information about current vehicle configuration from the central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The vehicle configuration from Central electronic module (CEM) is not the same as the one stored in the control module.
The control module automatically erases DTCs when its vehicle configuration corresponds with the one in the Central electronic module (CEM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- The control module's software is faulty, for example, because it has been used from another vehicle without software being downloaded.
- Fault trace the central electronic module (CEM).
