Checking the status




- Ignition on.
There are three possible reasons for the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) being stored.
1. Angle sensor not calibrated.
2. The control module is in service mode.
3. Installation check not carried out.
Read out status by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.

Hint: Reading off cannot be carried out if the installation check has been carried out.

If the angle sensor is not calibrated. Perform calibration, see vehicle communication.
If the control module is in service mode. Exit service mode, see vehicle communication.
To carry out the installation check, see vehicle communication.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Click on the VCT2000 symbol to read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).





Does the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) recur?

Yes - VERIFICATION FAILED

No - FAULT FOUND
