Checking the function

- Ignition off.
- All doors and covers are closed.
Check if it is possible to lock and unlock the vehicle with the remote key. Try with several remote keys to exclude that there is a problem with the remote key.
If locking/unlocking works correctly, the problem is probably intermittent. Therefore, check the connectors and cables between Central electronic module (CEM) and Remote Receiver Module (RRX) for contact resistance and loose connection.

Hint: Check if there are error messages in the Driver information module (DIM) which warns for low battery level in remote keys.

Check the connectors on Central electronic module (CEM) and Remote Receiver Module (RRX) for contact resistance and loose connection.

Unplug the connector on Remote Receiver Module (RRX) and measure voltage supply (30-feed) in the connector.

Hint: It is easier if you are two when this measurement is performed.

If no problems are detected on cables and connectors, and there is voltage feed to Remote Receiver Module (RRX), it is likely that it is an internal error in Remote Receiver Module (RRX).
