Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The Driver/Passenger door module (DDM/PDM) checks the lighting in the control panels.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The current strength is too high on the output.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
- Command from the control module to light the switch indication.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Power supply on the output stops.
Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable.
- Moisture and/or oxidation in terminals.
