Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The various sensors for the Four-C function are supplied with power from the Suspension module (SUM).
The power supply from the control module is split into to groups, A and B. Height sensor, left front and left rear supplied with power via output B.
Other sensors (all body acceleration sensors and height sensors, right front and right rear) supplied with power via output A.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Power supply cable to sensor output A has too high voltage.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Deactivated Four-C function.
Possible source
- Power supply cable for any sensor is short-circuited to voltage.
Fault symptom[s]
- Message in information display
- Four-C function not working
