Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The Suspension module (SUM) has three of each regardless of internal voltage supplies.
The internal power supply is monitored by the Suspension module (SUM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The voltage is too high or too low in the circuit for internal power supply C.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Deactivated Four-C function.
Possible source
- Internal memory fault in the Suspension module (SUM).
Fault symptom[s]
- Message in information display
- Four-C function not working
