Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information IAM-U200562
Condition
The Integrated Audio Module (IAM) is continually supplied with information on vehicle speed. The Integrated Audio Module (IAM) has an integrated GPS receiver that calculates vehicle speed. Information on vehicle speed is sent from the Central electronic module (CEM) to the infotainment control module (ICM) via CAN. The infotainment control module (ICM) forwards information to the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) via MOST.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The speed received from the Central electronic module (CEM) is 0 km/h.
- The speed received from the GPS receiver exceeds 36 km/h.
- No vehicle speed signal on the MOST network.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Problems with the MOST network.
- Interrupted or missing communication with the Central electronic module (CEM).
- Interrupted or no communication with the Infotainment control module (ICM).
