Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-U040500
Condition
Central electronic module (CEM) is continuously supplied with necessary information from Forward Sensing Module (FSM). The Central electronic module (CEM) checks the quality of the information coming from the Forward Sensing Module (FSM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Transmitting control module indicates a lower quality level of the signal than what Central electronic module (CEM) accepts.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Fault-trace the Forward Sensing Module (FSM).
Fault symptom[s]
- Adaptive cruise control; No Functionality
