Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The Driver/Passenger door module (DDM/PDM) is continuously supplied with information about the outdoor temperature from the Engine control module (ECM). The control module checks the quality of the information from the Engine control module (ECM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Transmitting control module gives a lower quality level on the signal than what the driver door/passenger door module (DDM/PDM) can accept.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- The Driver/passenger door module (DDM/PDM) uses the temperature signal from the internal sensor in the control module.
Possible source
- Locate the cause of the fault in the engine control module (ECM).
Fault symptom[s]
- None.
