Condition
Central electronic module (CEM) is continuously supplied with necessary information from Engine control module (ECM). The Central electronic module (CEM) checks the quality of the information coming from the Engine control module (ECM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Transmitting control module indicates a lower quality level of the signal than what Central electronic module (CEM) accepts.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
