Condition
The engine control module (ECM) receives confirmation from the central electronic module (CEM) as to whether the request for tank flap locking was sent to the locking relay.
Locking should occur at 17 km/h. The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the engine control module (ECM) registers that vehicle speed has exceeded 17 km/h for at least 10 seconds without receipt of the central electronic module (CEM) signal.

- Loose connections or contact resistance in CAN connections.
- Damaged CAN cables.
- Disruptions on CAN signal cables.
- Another node in the HS-CAN network is damaged.
