Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information DEM-P096162

Condition
Differential Electronic Module (DEM) calculates an expected oil pressure increase in the AOC-unit (the mechanical clutch) during driving. The control module checks reasonableness of the oil pressure change.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signal from the oil pressure sensor deviates too much from the predefined value.
- Incorrect value lasts longer than 5 minutes.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when:
- The oil temperature is between -40 °C and 120 °C.
- 30 seconds since the test was run the last time.
- The torque transfer is below a certain level that can be calibrated.
- The lateral acceleration is below a certain level that can be calibrated.
- No ABS engagement.
- No antispin engagement.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- Four wheel drive is disengaged.

Possible source
- Damaged control valve/axial solenoid.
- Damaged AOC unit (mechanic clutch).
- Oil leakage.
- Damaged Differential Electronic Module (DEM).
