Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information DEM-P066611
Condition
The Differential Electronic Module (DEM) has a temperature sensor fitted on the control module's circuit board. If the temperature exceeds a preset value all wheel drive is disabled. This is to protect the control module.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The temperature exceeds 193.2 °C.
- Incorrect value lasts longer than 3 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Four wheel drive is disengaged.
Possible source
- Damaged temperature sensor in the control module.
- Damaged Differential Electronic Module (DEM).
