Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P061400
Condition
Information about the vehicle configuration is sent on the CAN network.
Depending on the model and equipment, the vehicle can be configured in different ways.
The central electronic module (CEM) sends the applicable signal ID for the vehicle.
The Transmission control module (TCM) compares this ID with the ID internally stored in the software.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- These do not correspond, which means that the software in the Transmission control module (TCM) is not compatible with other software in the vehicle.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 3 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.
