Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-P052A00

Condition
The Engine control module (ECM) regulates the camshaft position (angle). The difference between requested angle and actual angle is stored in the Engine control module (ECM) during warm-up of the catalytic converter.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The camshaft angle is greater than the requested during warm-up of the catalytic converter.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Cold engine.
- Warming-up of catalytic converter.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
