Condition




If the Engine control module (ECM) registers an open circuit on the signal line between the control module and the EVAP-valve, the diagnostic trouble code is generated.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute value
- Fuel trim blocked.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- Open-circuit on the signal cable.
- Damaged EVAP valve.

Fault symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
- Fuel odor.
