Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition




The engine control module (ECM) checks the function of the leakage diagnosis unit by measuring the current through the leakage diagnosis pump.
If the control module registers that the current curve is unreasonably high, low or noisy, it determines that the reference measurement has produced a faulty result and the diagnostic trouble code is generated.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when leakage diagnosis is running.

Substitute value
- Leakage diagnosis is interrupted.

Possible source
- Dirt or moisture in the pump.
- Damaged heating element in the pump.
- Damage leakage diagnosis pump.

Fault symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
