Condition




The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the Engine Control Module (ECM) registers that the front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) preheating circuit (bank 1) has a short-circuit to supply voltage.
The engine cylinders are counted from the cylinder furthest away from the flywheel.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute value
- Fuel trim switched off.
- Front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) preheating switched off.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply in the power cable.
- Damaged front heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).

Fault symptom[s]
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
