Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
The Suspension module (SUM) controls individual damping in each shock absorber using a valve that is affected by a solenoid.
The Suspension module (SUM) calculates the temperature in the damper solenoids using the resistance measurement.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The temperature in the solenoid is too high.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Engine on and vehicle speed over 2 km/h for more than 2 minutes.
- The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Note! When diagnostic trouble codes in the suspension module (SUM) are erased, they do not disappear until the next operating cycle (ignition off - ignition on).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) specifies the relevant damper solenoid.
- SUM-C110C4B: Damper solenoid left front
- SUM-C110D4B: Damper solenoid right front
- SUM-C110E4B: Damper solenoid left rear
- SUM-C110F4B: Damper solenoid right rear
