Fault-tracing
Checking the voltage
Check that the camera is installed correctly to Forward Sensing Module (FSM).
If the camera is connected correctly:
Measure the voltage in the cable harness to the camera. The voltage should be approx. 4.2 - 4.6 V.
If the correct voltage is not measured, replace the forward sensing module (FSM).
If the correct voltage is measured, click Continue.

Erase diagnostic trouble codes
Disconnect the battery terminal and reconnect it after approx. 2 minutes.
Restart the vehicle.
Erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
Does the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) recur?
Yes - Corrective actions
No - FAULT FOUND

Corrective actions
If the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) reappears, rectify in accordance with the following priority:
- Replace the cable harness between camera and control module.
- Replace the camera.
- If the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) reappears after replacing the cable harness and camera then the forward sensing module (FSM) needs to be replaced.
