Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-C004464

Condition
The brake pressure sensor is located inside the hydraulic modulator. The sensor has two integrated pressure sensors, one measures the brake pressure and the other the brake pressure/temperature. The Brake control module (BCM) compares both brake pressures. The signals must correspond with each other.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signals do not correspond with each other.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- Traction control (TC) blocked.
- Stability control (SC) blocked.
- Active yaw control (AYC) is blocked.
